Our goal is to advance research across disciplines by facilitating collaboration between researchers and data scientists and by building a community of practice to disseminate familiarity, expertise, and training in data science. We offer data science workshops and research consulting for researchers across Oregon and the wider scientific community.
The ODSC provides data science research analysis consulting. Data science research consulting includes data analysis, grant proposal assistance, one-on-one training, experimental design discussion, software assistance, custom programming.
The ODSC is hiring a Data Analyst/Trainer. This position will be involved in constructing data science workshops and conducing collaborative research projects.
The first ODSC workshop was taught in Fall 2021. Students participated in three workshops covering the topics of reproducible research workflows, using Git for version control, and using GitHub for collaboration.
